The birds, flowers and places Americans search for most as coloring pages in 2026

Owls are the most searched bird to color in the US, at about 5,400 Google searches a month for "owl coloring page". Sunflowers and tulips lead the flowers at about 1,900 each, and mountains, hot air balloons and lighthouses lead the places. These are 12-month averages; searches climb in November and December.

How we measured it

We pulled average monthly US Google searches for "[subject] coloring page" from Ubersuggest on October 23, 2026. The figures are estimates, rounded into bands by the tool, so read them as a ranking rather than exact counts. We left out subjects whose searches mostly mean something else, such as "rose", which picks up a video game character, and "poppy", which picks up a cartoon.

Seahorse and reindeer coloring pages each draw about 1,600 searches a month, the snow leopard about 720 and the octopus about 590. All four are in our books: the seahorse and octopus in Quiet Ocean, the reindeer and snow leopard in Quiet Winter.
