Sea fan coral color reference
Sea fans are soft corals, also called gorgonians, that grow in branching, tree-like shapes. Many spread their branches flat across the current so their tiny polyps can catch plankton drifting past. Each fan is a colony of many small animals.
Colors to reach for
Choose one strong color such as purple, red, orange or yellow for the branches, with a darker shade at the base and joins.
