Sea urchin color reference
Sea urchins are round, spiny echinoderms that live on rocky and reef sea floors. Their mouth is on the underside and has five teeth for scraping algae off rocks. They move on tube feet between their spines.
Colors to reach for
Use deep purple or near-black for the spines with lighter tips, and add hints of red or violet where the light catches them.
