Spotted eagle ray color reference

Spotted eagle rays live in warm coastal waters, often gliding over reefs and sandy flats. Their dark backs are covered in small pale spots, and their long, whip-like tail can be several times the length of the body. They use a flat, duck-like snout to dig in the sand for clams and other shellfish.

Colors to reach for

Color the back deep navy or dark teal, dot it with small white or pale cream spots, keep the underside white, and shade the long tail dark.
